Quite a sticking point. Sorry for the tacky pun. Sorry. It certainly does the job – using it on an(other) Anet A8 printer it works incredibly well. So much so that it’s a bit difficult to get the print off the bed after you’re finished until you get the hang of it!Gone are the days of spraying the bed with copious amounts of Wilko Value hairspray and using masking tape for those pesky ABS prints!

Sticks like a big fat sticky thing from sticky land STICKY STICK STICK STICK! This thing is unreal! before this I was using masking tape and it was always a challenge, but now I just hit print and walk away, no problems whatsoever.Installation was a doddle, I just removed my bed, stuck down the Buildtak surface and trimmed the edges. For the screw mounts I sliced a cross though the Buildtak with a scalpel and simply reassembled as normal. Works perfectly!I’ll definitely be buying this in the future.

Buyer Beware I’ll preface this by saying the buildtak worked well, almost too well for the first few prints, adhesion was excellent, if not a bit difficult to remove from the platform. The biggest problem with it however is it’s total lack of instructions, application was fine but when it comes to cleaning it, it’s super easy to ruin it. I used a very small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a cloth to lightly wipe it down and now nothing will stick to it at all. There are no warnings or instructions packaged…
