Love it so far but hates compatibles So far we love it. Our main issue with the old Canon Pixma was sharpness. It couldn’t print barcodes and QR panels well enough to be able to use them. This can. It also wastes far less time rumbling and whirring at startup. Not tried it with photo printing, but really it wasn’t bought for that. The two cartridge system is unlikely to cope well.

Printer stopped recognising paper in only 30 prints, HP won’t validate warranty even though I’ve only had it for 8 months I purchased this printer in May 2016, and I have only just subscribed to the ink printing service in january 2017. In approximately 30 prints, the printer has already not been able to recognise paper in the tray. After contacting HP and showing them proof of purchase, they state my warranty has been expired (meaning that i don’t even have the rights to 12 month warranty. Will not order from them again

Works smoothly, good print quality, cheap ink plan available, looks good Especially for the price, this is an excellent buy – bought it on offer, at £47.50, but would also pay the full price. It is somewhat larger than I expected, but just about fits where I wanted to put it. It loos quite sleek, the paper tray is inside the printer, so the paper doesn’t get dusty, and you’ve not got the tray sticking out the top or front. Having said that, the paper tray does extend around 5 cm beyond the front of the printer, and the output tray a further 10 cm beyond that…
