Some extra features for expert users: Change video resolution for tablets, phones, etc. Crop unwanted black bands from top, sides or bottom of video. De-interlace video. Rip videos back from the DVDs you create.
The instruction document provided is superb with easy steps to follow and most FAQ questions or troubleshooting questions are answered. As for picture quality, obviously you won’t get 720p or higher but you do get a very clear picture quality with bright colors. Not only is the program good and the instructions clear but you also get all the necessary cables to connect and save all your old recordings. Pretty awesome.
Just to be crystal clear: This is a kit that links the Mac you already own to the VCR or Camcorder you already own.
