Creative fun My children have been asking for a 3D pen for a few months now – not with any real expectation of what one does, but because its the big new thing, I had low expectations, but it has been a bit of a surprise – very easy to ‘doodle’ in 2-D and, with some perseverance and imagination, they were soon in 3-D.
Overpriced and under-resourced – BUY AN ALTERNATIVE! Bought this for a Christmas present and although it is a good 3D pen, it is very overpriced as a pack and inherently low on resources and therefore fun. The pack does not contain even slightly enough plastic to be able to experiment or develop any technique, and this makes it a joyless experience.
